MOST AMERICANS SPOKE NORSE.,
WHEN the ENGLISH INVADED.

LENAPE HISTORIANS SPOKE NORSE
The
ENGLISH KNEW by AD 1643 THAT AMERICANS WERE SPEAKING THE SAME LANGUAGE AS
ICELAND.
Read this text from Reider T. Sherwin's, VIKING and the RED MAN.
ROGER WILLIAMS and the DUTCH Governor knew in 1643 that the Americans spokethe same words as people in ICELAND. |
Williams
wrote the Key to the Indian Language in the ship on his way to England.
Williams
was a teacher to the English Colony at Plymouth, a preacher to the Salem Church,
and a close friend of William Bradford of the Boston Church. In England, Willams was an advisor to
the Englishmen attempting to run a government without a king.
There
is little doubt that, if Roger Williams knew, then many of the leading
Englishmen also knew that many Americans spoke Norse, when the English invaded.

In the late 1930's Reider T. Sherwin, a man who spoke a dialect of Old Norse, discovered he could understand the American language. He devoted the rest of his life to compile the evidence that the "Indian Language is Old Norse."

1531 pages in eight volumes of the VIKING and the RED MAN are available from the Dropbox entitled

This is what Sherwin wrote in the preface of Volume Iv
Karl Hoenke wrote on 6/29/16:
"We have seen Reider T. Sherwin’s work demonstrates that many Algonquin words and American place names are Old Norse. But also, text written in 1643, in which Roger Williams and the Dutch Governor of New York knew the Native Americans were speaking the same language as Iceland, provides primary-source confirmation that, at the cynical best, we have been incompletely informed.
More likely, of course, is that the information we have is heavily laundered in favor of the British “winners” who overlooked their obligation to inform the Crown that there were Christians on these shores --- and that England may not have a claim to North America."
End of Hoenke comments
Who ever cataloged Sherwin's books very cleverly put them in the dictionary section of the library, where few linguists look, or was incompetent enough to make eight catalog mistakes of a book having the preface above, which I think clearly implies a linguistic effort.
Powerful linguistic research departments, such as the University of California, Berlerly, and Ohio State University, did not know they had volumes of the VIKING and the RED MAN in the stacks.

Two men, Dr. Myron Paine, independent researcher in California, and Craig Judge, a Cherokee student at Kean University (NJ) used theVIKING and the RED MAN to decipher the Lenape History, called the Maalan Aarum (Engraved years)
______________________
During the decipherment process, the Drockkvaett format was sent to Paine by Vladimir Samuelson of Iceland.
Paine determined that each stanza of the Maalan Aarum was self-verifying if the languagge used to create the stanza had been Old Norse.
Paine and Judge used a "Drottkvaett score" to determine how valid their decipherment was.

The Lenape History ends in AD 1585, when Ralph Lane, the English commander, shot the Lenape Historian in the head. The shooting episode is recorded in obscure English History.

Blue eyes are mentioned seven (7) and red hair twice in the first thirty (30) comments. Several of the other comments are attempts by people with the PRISTINE WILDERNESS in their heads to resolve the conflict between the words and their paradigm. A few do imply that the orthodox people must be puzzled.
I saw no one who made a comment that the paradigm in most peoples heads may not be valid.
