.
If you read or scroll down to near the end, there is an opportunity to send a message.
.

You can:
support my message,
flat out disagree,
or comment on another statement in the Gotham Center exhibit.

NATIVE KNOWLEDGE
KEY CONCEPT 1
“There is no single American Indian culture or language.”

This concept is misleading. Most Americans were Catholics, who spoke Norse. other Americans, such as the Cherokee, make the concept valid, but misleading.
The concept as stated implies that there is no common trait through out the Catholics, who spoke Norse, even though they were the majority of Americans in the Eastern portion of North America.
Most Americans were indeed Catholics. Most Americans spoke Norse. But there was no single American culture in America.
The word “Indian” should be replaced by “most Catholics, who spoke Norse.”
The KEY concept should be: “The majority of Americans were Catholics. who spoke Norse, but other minor tribes made the situation appear as if there was no single American culture or language.”
Please revise the KEY concept 1-1.

LET US
 ALL
ENGAGE!

This is our chance to make it in New York City.
If we can make it there, we can make it anywhere!

Near the bottom of the text is the link
which takes you to a post of the
NATIONAL MUSEUM of the AMERICAN INDIAN.
If you scroll down, you will see a photo with the title
        “Essential Understandings”
Tap on the “Learn more” botton,
which will take you to a post entitled
Essential Understandings
which has ten drawings as links to ten Themes.
.
WARNING!!
You are now in the propaganda page of the strongest purveyor of the NEW WORLD MYTH. The TEN THEMES lead to erroneous “understandings” that are biased to support the NEW WORLD MYTH.
Those erroneous “understandings” give us a chance to correct one “understanding” at a time.
Submitting our corrections via the Teaching Lenape History portal seems to work the best.  Submissions via the National Museum portals appear to disappear.
Same tune,
second verse:
If we can make it there,
We can make it anywhere!"
.
We may not succeed this time, but if we do not dance, the purveyor of the MYTH will still think he has the correct "understanding."
The drums are beating
