OKLAHOM RUNE STONES (Where they should not be.)
We
have studied the Heavener Runestone.
.
There are three other rune stones found in Oklahoma.
. You can find information about the lesser Oklahoma rune stones by using the LENAPE Index.

.
The
text for the Elder Futhark says that the change to the Younger Futhark began
about AD 800.
.
The
text for the younger Futhark says that this alphabet was the Norseman rune
set. Also this article has a good
comparison of the older and younger rune sets.
.
NOTE:
That the Oklahoma rune stones have a mixture of old and younger runes. This situation may have been consistent
with the passage of King Hardada’s men, who may have camped in Oklahoma about AD1064.
.
The
Eastern Oklahoma country is still good wintering land. It has frost-free rivers, forests
for wood and wild animals, and lakes for migrating birds and fishh, sunny hillsides and valleys to
get out of the wind.
. King Hardada’s men would have found the land a pleasant place to rest through the hurricane season.
.
Note
that all the modern day authorities think the stones are “modern.”
. None suggested that the use of older and younger runes may date the stones to KING Hardada’s passage.
.
They
also do not make a hypothesis that the stones, which are located in a land
known for dust storms, may have been covered with dust for nine centuries.
.
Then the
agricultural activity after the Oklahoma Land Rush may have turned over the Shawnee,
Pawnee, and Poteau run stones.
What
the “authorities” have done is come up with an answer: “They are modern” that has convinced
publishers to omit the Oklahoma stones and the older and younger Futharks from
textbooks.
So
four rune stones have been suppressed from textbooks because the “authorities”
may have had the English MYTH in their head: “These people were pagans, whose ancestors came from
Asia.” (I.e. the ancient ones
would not have known Futharks.)
The
English MYTH has apparently prevailed again. Information that the kids should know has been suppressed by
omission from textbooks.
Do YOU think the kids should be able to understand the Older and Younger Futharks and examine the three other Oklahoma Runestones? |
