Last week I introduced the VICE SCOUT LEADER.
.
I told you that a most significant event in our lives together was arranging for the bus tour on the
VIKING WATERWAY.
.
BUT !!!
.
only a few of you EVEN looked at what we found!
.
Norse people had been rowing (or paddling) boats into North America for for 6 centuries before the English invaded.
.
The Norse came via, at least, two routes.  One route was by rowing (or paddling) down the Atlantic Coast.  The other route was via the Christian Sea (a.k.a. Hudson Bay), up (going South) the Nelson River, across Lake Winnepeg, up (going South) the Red River, across the tableland of Minnesota (using I-95 route) into the Mississippi River Basin.
.
Tne Norse were in America 1,000 years ago. Some of their descendants are still here.
.
They were chanting GENESIS a thousand years ago as a method to keep rowers in sync.
.
Can you tell someone how all this migration happened?  Can you recite the evidence of the rapids by-passes, the harbors, the moring stones, the other stones with holes, the ramps, the Jetties, the dikes, and the dozen or more 14th century artifacts.
.
If you cannot tell about that evidence to another person or your kids or grandkids, who do not believe 16th century Americans spoke Norse, then you SHOULD do your homework.
.
Start by viewing the VIKING WATERWAY.
Then view the FILM for EDUCATORS that was suppressed for 31 years.
.
You cannot proclaim that Columbus was NOT the first person from the East side of the Atlantic to come to America, if you  DO NOT KNOW about the physical evidence on the ground in Minnesota?
.
I cannot force you to study your homework about the VIKING WATERWAY. and other evidence, but if you are wasting your time looking at  the this screen, you OUGHT TO.
.
An unexpected result of the tour was the picture Robin took of the DIKES at Alexandria.

.
This is the second time I posted the LENAPE History answers in the Facebook AMERICAN HISTORY ORGANIZATION. (FBAHO).
.
If you are a member of FBAHO, which is closed, and
if you want your friends, who have not yet joined, to see the answers,
then you MUST share with your friends.
.
Have a good one

MYRON, @ LENAPE LAND
