FATHER-SON-HOLY GHOST SYMBOLS
.
The
purpose of this post is to illustrate that the 17th century English
had many opportunities to observe that the Americans were Catholic.
.
1585
.
John
White, a Catholic painter in a boatload of intense Protestant sailors, had a
difficult task.
.
How
was he going to show the Queen the Americans were Catholic, when any hint that
they were would result in his pictures being destroyed—as some were.
.
So
he painted Catholic symbols “in plain sight.”
Like
this man with a Father-Son-and Holy Ghost (F-S-HG) hair-do.
.
Then
he painted the dance. Interesting,
yes, but every thing White painted was carefully composed. There are four F-S-HG hairdos’, maybe five, in sight.
How
many F-S-HG hair-dos do you need to determine the people were Catholic?
.
Queen
Elisabeth did not need more. Because she knew Catholics were in Virginia, she encouaged Raleigh to go fight the Spainish in the Carribenian. Her
consort Raleigh never made it to the Virginia colony named after her.
.
The
next painter, La Moyne, painted near the border of Florida and Georgia.
.
He
painted mostly people wearing headgear seen in Northern Europe. But in the rear of this painting you can see four F-S-HG hair-dos.
.
When
the English invaded they attempted to buy their way into America with beads and
knives. But surely they must have
observed the people had F-S-HG hair-dos.
.
The
English at Jamestown, especially Samuel Argil, knew he was dealing with
Catholics. Notice the F-S-HG
hair-dos.
.
Then
notice the dead deer on the ground, which showed the power of the guns in the
upper left.
.
This
was one example of the English “negotiating” with people wearing F-S-HG
symbols.
.
The
many massacres in America in the 17th century resulted in people,
who wore the F-S-HG symbols, lying on the ground, lifeless--like the deer.
.
1613.
.
Thomas
Dale imprisoned Pocahontas in a 14th century church built by Henricus, a Catholic Bishop, who spoke
Norse. Dale assumed the Master’s
prerogative and taught her to submit to his desire.
.
When
Dale wanted to “trade” Pocahontas back in a deal where Powhatten would commit
that all people wearing F-S-HG symbols would become Protestants, Pocahontas told
her half-brothers
“Look,
I am pregnant by Dale, if I come back to the village, my husband will either
have to cut off my nose or kill me.
I love him too much to make him suffer that fate.
I shall go back to the English. Give my love to my husband.”
.
Later,
Thomas Dale had the gall to try to get another woman from the people, who wore
F-S-HG symbols.
This
last picture shows Powhatten greeting the messenger Hamor. Then Powhatten and the people, who wore
F-S-HG symbols, stopped talking to the English.
.
My
hypothesis is that the English knew what the F-S-HG
symbols meant. Protestants did not believe in mercy to Catholics. But later near the
end of the 17th century the English king became Catholic again.
.
Then the English became
proactive to remove all evidence that the American people were Catholic and that the English massacred them.
.
These eight photos slipped
through the SUPPRESSION by OMISSION tactics.
But the SUPPRESSION by OMISSION still endures.
